Battery, motor, and ESC placement in Somethin' EXTRA conversion

The fuel tank floor was omitted and a balsa floor installed at bottom of fuselage. The battery is split into two packs, one eight-cell and one 12-cell. They are wired in series using Sermos/Anderson Power Pole connecters.   The ESC is attached under top of fuselage with velcro.  Wooden beam type motor mounts were incorporated into sides of fuselage nose.  Motor is attached with "clam shell" style metal straps screwed onto beam mounts which have blind nuts at bottom.  The fuselage nose has been faired in with air intake into nose and exhaust through vent at bottom in front of the firewall.  The firewall also has a 1.75" hole cut out at the motor centerline. A removeable service hood was built in over the motor compartment.
